Community Involvement

Since 1930's, this office has enjoyed a long history of community service in Augusta. Today, The Augusta Group continues that proud tradition. Our financial representatives and staff members live and work in this community and understand the importance of active community involvement. Many provide volunteer leadership for fundraisers and serve on boards and committees of numerous worthwhile organizations.

The office supports:

  • United Way
  • Augusta Symphony
  • The Salvation Army
  • The Chamber of Commerce
  • The Arts and Science Council
  • Fellowship of Christian Athletes
  • Savannah River Land Trust
  • Red Wagon Society at MCG
  • The Kroc Center
  • Junior Achievement
  • Ronald McDonald House

                                                  Kroc Center of Augusta

We proudly support the Salvation Army and it's efforts in our community.  Our office promotes the Kroc Center and members of our office serve on various committees within the Salavation Army.

We have been involved in all of the local Chamber of Commerce's and have financial representatives serving as Ambassadors and Diplomats.

Northwestern Mutual also is a supporter of Junior Achievement on a National and local level.  We've had a lot of fun teaching elementary and high school students financial and life skills.
